J. Gregory Marks
Attorney
Print ProfileDallas personal injury lawyer Greg Marks has spent his career advocating for people whose lives have been disrupted by serious accidents, defective products, and preventable injuries. He is committed to helping injured individuals and their families pursue the compensation they need to move forward.
Before becoming an attorney, Greg worked as an engineer for offshore drilling companies. This position allowed him to develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills, but he ultimately wanted a career where he could make a more direct difference in the lives of others. That goal led him to the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University, where he graduated in the top 15 percent of his class.
After law school, Greg joined a prominent downtown Dallas law firm, where he represented major corporations, physicians, and insurance companies. His experience representing defendants gave him valuable insight into how businesses and insurers evaluate, defend, and litigate complex claims. Over time, however, Greg recognized that his passion was representing individuals and families rather than large organizations.
For more than three decades, Greg has focused his practice on personal injury law. He represents clients in cases involving car and truck accidents, construction accidents, defective vehicles, wrongful death, catastrophic injuries, and other serious incidents caused by negligence or dangerous products.
Greg has developed a particular interest in cases involving vehicle and product defects. He takes pride not only in pursuing accountability for his clients, but also in helping uncover dangerous defects and practices that can lead to meaningful safety improvements and potentially prevent similar tragedies in the future.
Outside of his legal practice, Greg is a devoted husband and father.
